That May 20 post indicated a previous two week decline of covid-19 cases in Owensboro-Daviess County. Over the past 7-10 days national, state, and some local media have been reporting an increase in cases in several states, including Kentucky. This is precisely why it is important to look at this type of data at the local level. This is interesting because from what I've seen and witnessed, blacks are so much more discriminated against than gays and lesbians. I like how it's "the perception of it". And it reminds me of a discussion in Inequality class when you talked of how you believe they don't wake up thinking and knowing they are disciminated again, it's there, but more underlying. I think this kind of goes to show..
